La Finca Commercial Centre has something for everyone!
La Finca Urbanisation boasts a large commercial centre with a variety of shops, bars and restaurants, so if you’re lucky enough to live on La Finca, or Montemar across the road, you have a bustling retail space right on your doorstep. La Finca Commercial Centre can help with anything, whether you’re buying or selling property, needing maintenance work done, looking for fine dining or quick snacks, or even setting up a funeral plan!
You can pick up sun cream or a hangover cure from the Farmacia, or go shopping for designer ladies and gentlemens clothing in Moda La Finca. As you can already see, La Finca Commercial Centre is much more than a few bars and restaurants. Click on any of the links in this feature to take you to the Facebook pages of the different businesses, where you will find information on opening times, services, and in the case of bars and restaurants, menus and special offers.
The centre is attractively laid out, with two large squares on the lower level. and spacious terraces on the upper level. Access is easy with two staircases and a lift for disabled access which is large enough to accommodate a wheeelchair, baby buggy or small mobility scooter. So all of the commercial centre is accessible to everyone, as there are easy access ramps on the lower level, as well as steps.
Breakfasts on La Finca

Make a great start to your day with a breakfast in one of the bars who open from 9.00 am onwards to feed you with anything from a tostada to a full English. Layla’s, The Corner Flag and the new La Finca Bar next to Moda La Finca come highly recommended.
Lunch on La Finca
The bars already mentioned serve light snacks and main meals at lunchtime, and Local 42 on the upper level of La Finca Commercial Centre now offers a 4 course Menu del Dia Monday – Friday, with weekly nu changes, so there’s always something new to try. It’s a good idea to book your table, as this is becoming very popular. Sugar Terrace Bar offers free tapas with every drink, as well as an excellent snack menu, and their sister restaurant offers full service in the evenings. Bar La Cascada, also on the upper level, is reopening soon under new management and will be offering light bites.
Dinner on La Finca
If you think there’s lots on offer for breakfast and lunch on La Finca Commercial Centre, you’ll really be spoiled for choice when you head out for dinner! Most of the venues mentioned already offer evening menus, and Baybrooks and The Bistro La Finca offer fine dining at value for money prices. Both are on the upper level and you can choose from the Menu de la Noche or opt for a la carte. Dine indoors or on their spacious terraces. Olivos in the square on the lower level also offers fine dining, with regular Spanish themed nights.
If you fancy something more exotic, try Sarafina South African Kitchen or the Indian Palace if a curry is a must. Tapas y Mas on the upper level also offers a varied menu, with a monthly Saturday barbecue. Booking is a must for this, as it’s very popular.
Your home on La Finca
Maybe you don’t yet live on La Finca but you want to? Or perhaps you need essential work or refurbishments done? You can sort that out on La Finca Commercial Centre too. Casas Connect, Platinum Properties and Welcome Estates can help you find your perfect property or sell if you want to move. They all have specialised local knowledge, yet advertise on national and international platforms, so one of these agents will be able to help you.
For building work or repairs, check out Ansell Construction and Maintenance. And Platinum Construction is part of the Platinum Group of companies. Ansell and Platinum offices are on the same row of units as Moda La Finca and La Finca Bar, just past the squares if you are coming from Quesada, Algorfa or Los Montesinos directions.
On a cautionary note, remember when large sums of money are involved, you need to be extra careful, so check out reviews and ask for recommendations. And be sure to take appropriate independent legal advice, since property laws and building regulations may vary from what you are familiar with in your home country.
Pamper yourself on La Finca
We all deserve a bit of pampering, and you can certainly do that on La Finca Commercial Centre! Bliss La Finca was one of the first businesses to open, back in December 2007, and it’s still under the capable ownership of hairdresser Christine Hampshire. Bliss covers many aspects of hair care and beauty with their team of experienced therapists and hairdressers, so why not make an appointment for some pampering soon?
Once you have your nails and hair sorted, why not show it off to best advantage with a new outfit? Moda La Finca has a great range of German and European designer wear, in a range of sizes to fit anyone. They cater for ladies and gentlemen, and are happy to help you choose your outfit and suggest the perfect accessories. Shopping for clothes at Moda La Finca can be a really relaxing experience, and you will leave feeling thoroughly spoiled.
If you fancy a quality new sundress for yourself, or a t-shirt for your significant other, check out the bargain rail, where you can find anything you need from as little as €10. The great thing about buying from Moda La Finca is you’re not going to see loads of versions of your outfit as you go out and about Around Algorfa, and they have some great ideas for gifts as well.
La Finca Commercial Centre has lots to offer, whether you live locally or you’re here for a look around. Throughout the year, there are various events, such as pop up Ladies Day markets, charity events and fiestas, so keep an eye on the local Facebook groups to see what’s happening. Maybe I’ll see you there some time soon.
